Pink Elephant Commemorates World Elephant Day

Burlington, ON – August 10, 2018 – Once again on August 12, Pink Elephant will celebrate World Elephant Day.

Now in its sixth year, World Elephant Day is an international initiative to bring the world together to help elephants. The day honors elephants, spreads awareness about the critical threats they are facing, and supports positive solutions that will help ensure their survival.

“Elephants don’t just give us our name, they are part of everything we do here at Pink Elephant, and their qualities of loyalty, intelligence, leadership and playfulness are traits all Pinkers strive towards,” said Fatima Cabral, CEO, Pink Elephant. “This World Elephant Day, we pledge to do our part to ensure the safety and survival of these incredible creatures for many, many years to come!”

Pink Elephant employees have pledged to support a world that protects elephants, wildlife and their habitat, and encourage others to do so as well at the World Elephant Day website.
