COURSE OVERVIEW

This two-day Agile Scrum Developer certification course will provide you with the core concepts and practices of Agile Scrum. It will also introduce you to the role and responsibilities of an Agile Scrum developer, including how developers collaborate with stakeholders. In addition, you will learn the fundamentals of Agile architecture, test-driven development (TDD), refactoring, and several DevOps practices. This course also fully prepares you for the exam, leading to the Agile Scrum Developer certification.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon their successful completion of the course, attendees will understand:
- The four values and twelve principles of the Agile Manifesto
- The three pillars of empirical process control and Lean thinking as part of Scrum theory
- How developers contribute to product backlog management, including slicing features and sizing the product backlog items
- How a Scrum team collaborates with stakeholders, customers, and users during a sprint and the benefits of these direct interactions
- Continuous integration and how it differs from continuous delivery and continuous deployment

PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this course, but we recommend the Agile Scrum Essentials certification course, or equivalent, would be helpful.

- The exam is offered through Professional Designations Corp.
- One-hour, closed book
- Consists of 40 multiple-choice questions (a passing score of 65% – 26 correct answers – is required)
- After completion of this course, you may apply for self-directed learning PDUs through PMI. Letter of attendance is available upon request.
