IT Excellence Awards - Project Of The Year

The IT Excellence Project Of The Year award recognizes IT excellence by organizations from the IT industry internationally. Established by Pink Elephant, the award honors organizations who have achieved success through outstanding commitment to IT best practices.

Qualification Criteria

This award is presented to an organization. To be eligible, the organization must have:

  1. A clearly defined IT project with dedicated management personnel
  2. A project start date of no later than June 1, 2017
  3. Well documented and communicated purpose, goals and objectives
  4. A defined budget for the project
  5. Clearly defined and documented critical path, milestones and metrics for the project
  6. A demonstrated commitment to IT best practices with involvement of certified staff

The Submission Process

Download, complete and submit a submission form by email to Submissions received after December 8, 2017 may not be considered for this current year’s award, but will be retained for the following year.

We will acknowledge receipt of your submission within one business day and request more detailed information as the evaluation and selection process proceeds.

The Evaluation & Selection Process

The Judging Committee will evaluate all submissions and a short list of finalists will be contacted for a phone interview.

Submissions making it to the finalist stage will each qualify for one complimentary pass to Pink Elephant’s 22nd Annual International IT Service Management Conference & Exhibition at the JW Marriott, Grande Lakes, Orlando on February 18-21, 2018 where the winners will be announced. Please speak with your Pink Elephant Account Manager or Customer Service Representative for details once selected.

Announcement Of The Winners

Winners of the “Project Of The Year – 2017” will be announced at the Conference in February 2018. If the winner, or their approved representative, is present at the Conference then a formal presentation (with onsite photography) will be made. However, attendance at the Conference is not a prerequisite for winning an award. Winners do not have to be present at the award presentation.
