Certification, Accreditation & Standards Coordinator

A key member of our Product Management team, the Certification, Accreditation and Standards Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a quality management system (QMS) to coordinate activities across departments and maintain records related to accreditation and product management;       
  • Supporting the product development and release processes for new and updated education products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a quality management system to coordinate all accreditation related activities, processes and documentation;
  • Develops and administers an internal certification program for storing, retrieving, analyzing and presenting exam results, evaluations, certifications, etc. for Pink Elephant professional services team;
  • Maintains a calendar to plan for and execute accreditation activities, authorized training organization (ATO) agreement renewals, etc.;
  • Coordinates all activities related to external audit requests from ATOs;
  • Performs periodic internal audits of quality management system to ensure integrity of processes and documentation;
  • Works with Director, Professional Services to establish a training/skills development rollout program for each new or updated course (PinkCertify);
  • Develops and maintains a document management system to store all product related documentation, implementing version control for current education products and archives for retired products;
  • Ensures all instructor accreditation requirements are fulfilled (e.g., providing proof of instructor certificates and other accreditation requirements);
  • Acts as a liaison between international partners and suppliers;
  • Works with internal stakeholders (Product Development, Sales, CRM, Marketing, Logistics) to define backend support processes required for traditional classroom products/venues and e-learning products/venues;
  • Tracks and coordinates the progression of all education products through the product release process, ensuring all quality assurance activities have been completed prior to product launch.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a quality management or similar administrative coordination or role;
  • Previous experience with ISO9001 or another quality management system preferred;
  • Knowledge of ITIL® / IT Service Management an asset.

  • Outstanding organization skills and a disciplined approach to following procedures, maintaining records, documenting changes, etc.;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of document management principles and practices;
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
